Last updated: September 6, 2026. This policy explains what data ERDGenerator («we», «the service») handles when you use the site.

Anonymous session cookie

To let you save projects without creating an account, we set a single anonymous identifier cookie (visitorId). It is an httpOnly random identifier: it contains no personal data, cannot be read by scripts, and is used only to link the projects you create to your browser. Clearing your browser cookies removes access to previously saved projects.

Saved schemas

The schemas you generate (tables, columns, relationships, diagram positions) are stored in our database so the editor and share links keep working. This content may include whatever you choose to name your tables and columns — please do not paste personal or confidential production data. You can delete any project at any time, which removes its versions and share links.

Schema generation

When you use the «Describe your app» feature, your description is processed automatically to produce a schema proposal. Descriptions are not stored by us after the response is validated. Do not include personal data in your descriptions.

Advertising

We may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
